He points! He smiles! He LOVES water. His name is QUEST… and he is looking for his forever home. This boy has a gorgeous soft coat. He loves to explore his surroundings. He is smart and attentive and affectionate to his people. He absolutely LOVES to play in water.

Quest was rescued from a high-kill shelter in California. The shelter estimated his age at 6 years, but our vet believes his age to be 3-4 years. His kennel card estimated his breed as pit bull (every shelter dog is a “pit bull”) but our vet believes he is a Pointer Mixed with a large breed like a Great Dane or a Mastiff.

Quest gets along with other respectful dogs, but he does not do well with other alpha male dogs. He would be fine around respectful or submissive male and female dogs, but we would prefer him to be the only dog in the home unless with a savvy dog-owner. He has been in foster care with other dogs without issues, depending on the dogs.

Quest has a love for life and he deserves a good home.

Can you save this boy?
