Hi Ginger,
We've had Roxy now for about a month and she is adapting very well.
Her and my maltipoo Maya bonded instantly and even though she is very
timid and a little skiddish around people she is completely confident around
Maya. She is still a scared little puppy and seems to have bonded with me
the most, she follows me everywhere, loves to lay on my lap, she licks a lot,
and I just love her little ears! Walking her on a leash was very challenging
at first, she would just put on the brakes, but now she loves her walks
and will walk right next to me or behind me.
We are always working with her, trying to boost her confidence and take
her anywhere we can to get her socialized with other people, it takes
her out of her comfort zone but I think it's good for her.
I'm so glad we were able to adopt her and makes me sad to think of her living in a
puppy mill for the first 3 months of her life, no wonder why she's so unsure
of people!
But she's a sweet little girl with lots of love to give and she has been the perfect addition to our home!
