Thank you, Ginger! We are so happy with our new family member! We've changed her name to "Mina" She's really doing well, we think! At first there were some "disagreements" between her and our two
cats, but they are starting to work it all out. Mina very nicely ignores them, which they appreciate, and if she comes across one she changes direction so as not to have to hear that irate hiss.
We've been taking her for long walks every morning and evening, and we're starting to take her place in the car, to get used to being around more people. When we first got her, she was a little shy of
men, but this week she met three different male friends and was perfectly fine! Mina already knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and find her ball. She walks on the leash 100% better than she did at
first, and doesn't need the harness any more to go on her walks.
We're so happy, and we thank you again for rescuing her. She's sitting at my feet as I type this and I'm sure she's thanking you too! :)
