| Dear Ginger,
Max continues to settle in nicely. He and my husband are such good buddies. Max does indeed follow us where ever we go.
He is so happy to see us when we come home. Going to bed at night is a real highlight. At first Max could not get up on our bed but we found a little stool and now Max can take a run at it. He snuggles down right between my husband and I and usually falls asleep with his head on my husband's shoulder.
If my husband gets up, Max gets up. He wants to be in the middle of everything. He does not hear so he really needs to keep his visual cues going. Max also likes to sleep in. This morning we went to check on him because he was still asleep at 10:30. He had not moved.
Max also loves our adult children. He just thinks it is the best when they come visit. Gilhi, our other rescue also loves our children and it is very funny to watch these two boys fight over who can get the most attention.
Max, currently is in great health, except for the hearing issues. His fur is like black velvet and he is so soft. People want to pet him which is helping him become more socialized. I wish I could send you a touch.
I do send your notices out to my friends. I run with some great dog lovers.
You are the very best advocate and friend to these beloved animals.
Bless you & keep up the great work!
