Hi Ginger,

Just a note to let you know how Ivan is doing...

He is a wonderful wonderful little guy and my Mom was SO lucky to get him.

He is much doted on by all. Being a puppy mill dog, he is doing well considering, but he is petrified by people and he flinches at every little noise.

We have been taking him all over with us wherever we go to try and desensitize him and there have been small successes. But it is going to take a very long time.

I figure if he's 3 years old and has been neglected an abused that whole time we have to put a fair amount of time being kind to him just to break even.

He is SO good though...we wouldn't trade him for the world.
