My sweet Biscuit was scheduled to be euthanized a day after I got her. She has the saddest eyes and you could tell she has a broken spirit like somebody who has given up hope. She was matted and smells bad even after a bath. I looked into her eyes and told her “I will take care of you and I will make sure that you will never be abandoned again”. For awhile, she was sad, refused to play with toys, was very clingy and would even dig and hide the rawhide that we gave her. But my little girl has changed so much after a few weeks. Her eyes are now shining and happy. She plays fetch though she does not have the most elegant run. Her legs would be going all over the place. Then she would lose grip of the ball so shewould have to go after it. This will go on for awhile. Tip: Do not throw it very far or it might take her hours to come back.

She is funny though .She is so vocal when we get home; it is like we were gone for 10 years instead of 10 hours. She now has nice fur and smells very good. But could still use a little TIC-TAC. It was 360 degrees turnaround for her. I could not believe that this sweet little girl through no fault of her own was marked to die if not for Ginger’s pet rescue. We love her dearly and she loves us back more

Thanks,

Janet
